Identity card for the return of a citizen
An identity card for returning to Ukraine is an identity document confirming the citizenship of Ukraine (except as provided by laws), gives the right to enter Ukraine, and is issued and issued by foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine.
The certificate is issued and issued in the following cases:
- when a citizen of Ukraine did not draw up identity documents, confirm the citizenship of Ukraine, and/or give the right to leave Ukraine and enter Ukraine.
- loss or theft while staying outside Ukraine of an identity document confirming the citizenship of Ukraine and/or giving the right to leave Ukraine and enter Ukraine;
- when the period of validity of the identity document confirming the citizenship of Ukraine and giving the right to leave Ukraine and enter Ukraine has expired;
- when it is established that the identity document confirms the citizenship of Ukraine and gives the right to leave Ukraine and enter Ukraine, is invalid for other reasons;
